Garville Netball Club is always interested in recruiting umpires, from novices to experienced.

We are also looking for experienced umpires, whether you are interested in umpiring yourself or helping us to continue and improve the development of newer umpires, our Umpiring Director would love to hear from you.

It’s great to see the improvement of our umpires over the season, from hardly blowing the whistle to taking assertive control in higher age groups.

Even greater is hearing positive feedback from coaches, players and spectators. Congratulations on your efforts so far this season Garville Umpires, keep it up.

Constructive criticism has been received from some coaches, players and spectators regarding our younger umpires – this is also greatly appreciated.

One thing that has not been received yet are complaints of abusive behaviour toward any umpires from members of our club, nor inappropriate behaviour of our umpires, and I believe that speaks greatly of the Garville Community as a whole, so a big thank you to all members of the club, I hope your positive support of the sport of netball and all its participants continues.
