Please find above the dates for the commencement of the 2011 Garville Netball Club “Coach the Coach” sessions. These sessions are designed for coaches who will be coaching for their respective Clubs/Association/Regional teams in the 2011 Winter season.
The aim of these sessions is to prepare coaches with the necessary skills, knowledge and
expertise to coach their players, whilst also providing an opportunity for the coaches to develop personally through the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.
In 2010 we had 15 coaches complete their Foundation level Coaching accreditation ( former Level 0) and in 2011 hope to have these coaches start and/or complete their Development level Accreditation (Level 1), whilst developing new Coaches into the program.
The Garville Netball Club funds costs associated with this program and there will be no costs to participants. The Grange, Hills and Mid Hills Coaches need to pay for their Accreditation Level on completion. ($75.00 per participant/$20.00 Coaches and Umpires Association.)
The sessions are held at ETSA PARK on Sunday mornings. This year Foundation and Development sessions will be implemented throughout the “Coach the Coach Sessions” and in August a Final Theory Session will conclude these two Accreditation Levels.
It is a pre-requisite that all 2011 Garville Coaches attend the ‘Coach the Coach’ sessions.
